One huge benefit of remaining on Standard Time would be the elimination of the mass of confusion that exists along the Arizona/Utah border, particularly within the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, half of the area is in Arizona, half in Utah, Utah changes to DST, Arizona does not. Marinas on the Utah side operate on one time, marinas on the Arizona are on a different time. Eliminating the annual change in and out of DST would eliminate this time confusion on the border.
